Re: the url for the LDS products, anyone have it
thanks you guys.. that is a huge website and I reached my frustration level..
has anyone done any cost averaging on these? It seems hard to beat the prices anywhere else on those products.. I have bought some cases and love the way the boxes stack.. |
Re: the url for the LDS products, anyone have it
Is this some good stuff and a reasonable price or are there better deals from other vendors available?
I'd like to get 6mos - 1 year supplies for 2 in just one purchase. Any recommendations? TIA |

the lds site is hard to beat if you are looking for the items they offer. i usually buy from lds and honeyville.

There might be a cheaper place out there somewhere, but every time I have compared pricing you cant beat the LDS site. Factor in no tax and no shipping fees and add peace of mind and its hard to pass up. Who knows what your getting from XYZ company or if it is really packaged right. You cant beat the Mormons in experience level when it comes to these types of items. |

The ldscatalog site offers EXCELLENT prices on #10 can sized 7 mil thick mylar pouches, oxygen absorbers, and wheat. You may be able to beat the price on pinto beans, and I recommend you look to your local Sam's Club or Costco for rice. Rolled oats are so darned "fluffy", it's hard for me to figure out (on the top of my head) whether it's cheaper to go with your local Wally World stuff or the ldscatalog site. If you have an "in" with your local LDS cannery store, you can beat the price of bulk wheat. Otherwise, you're stuck paying for the wheat + shipping. In any case, they offer very reasonable prices, fast & free shipping, and maybe even zero sales tax (depending on your location). I highly recommend that site. |
